Great Sand Dunes and Sangre de Cristo mountains

Plan a free visit to the Dunes and enjoy live music by Tom Munch and Don Richmond, meet guidebook authors Charlie & Diane Winger (on hand to autograph copies of their book, The Essential Guide to Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve), munch on some refreshments provides by Friends of the Dunes, and take advantage of discounts at the bookstore.

Finally, you can top off your day by working off all those goodies by climbing to the top of High Dune and sliding down on a sled, skis, or just running and rolling down like a little kid!
