New Year festivities (all over the state)

As promised, here are a number of celebrations in Colorado to say goodbye to 2006 and hello to 2007. It seems like the ski resorts are the main places that offer something for FREE on New Year’s Eve.
All of these happen on December 31, 2006.
Beaver Creek
New Year’s Eve Fireworks display & Torchlight Ski-down
Breckenridge
New Year’s Eve Torch Light Parade & Fireworks - “Parade” is on Peak 9 – events begin at 6 PM
Copper Mountain
Torchlight Parade - fireworks, big air & pipe show, fire jugglers, dancing - click here for the complete schedule
Crested Butte
New Year’s Celebration and Fireworks – fireworks and a torchlight parade
Durango Mountain Resort
New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade – fireworks and live music in the base area following the parade
Keystone
River Run Fireworks – begins at 8:30 PM
Monarch Ski Area
New Years Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks
Solvista Basin
New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks - 6 to 10 PM – kids’ parade at 6 PM, synchronized ski down and fireworks display. A limited number of glow sticks will be available to children 12 and under, otherwise, bring a flashlight and join in the parade.

Steamboat Springs
New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Display – starts at 7 PM – Don’t miss the trail of torches light up the mountain as the Steamboat Ski and Snowboard School parade down the mountain. The view’s great from both the base of the mountain or from downtown.
Winter Park
New Years Eve Activities and Fireworks - 6 to 10:30 PM – Downtown – Hideaway Park
