 To Comment or Not to Comment — that is the question

…that is the question.

Our current stats: 

Comments posted to this blog that had any remote relevance to anything:  6

Spam messages attempted to be posted (and blocked by spam-blocker):  2,052

Given these dramatic numbers, I’m strongly considering turning off all Comments for this Blog.  Is there anyone out there (other than someone hoping to promote sales of drugs, sex, or things I don’t even recognize) just waiting in the wings to post a review of a free festival you attended, a suggestion of a free concert, or a request for more listings in Itsy-Bitsyville, Colorado?

Or have I been hearing via email already from all you folks who like to communicate?  (Thanks for your emails, by the way!)
