First Friday Art Walk (Denver)

On the 1st Friday evening of each month, all year ’round, hop on the light rail and head over to the Osage station where you’ll find a shuttle with a big, orange “Connect the Dots” circle. They’ll take you over to Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, between 5th and 10th Avenues, where you can spend the evening perusing over 30 galleries and artist studios.Â
Â
Â
If you’d rather drive yourself, free parking is offered for First Friday Art Walk from 6 to 9 PM at:
Â
Â
- Alliance Francaise de Denver:Â SW corner of 6th & Galapago, through the alley, just West of Galapago.
- Kitchens at the Denver:Â 8th & Kalamath
- Micro Business:Â 700 Kalamath Street
- West High School parking lot:Â 10th & Galapago
As you explore the galleries, you’ll find art inspired by Colorado (John Fielder) and by France (Alliance Francaise de Denver), abstract & contemporary art with a focus on new media (Space Gallery), art influenced by street culture (Limited Addiction Gallery), and mosaic works (Kashi Kari Gallery). And much more.
Enjoy!
