These free concerts and performances take place at the Longmont Public Library in July & August, 2006:

July 13
Flamenco with Grupo Maria Vazquez – free Spanish music and dance performance – 7 to 8 PM

July 27
Concert – This should be different: Juba Juba, a 7 piece dance band, performs music based on the music of The Grateful Dead, but using a variety of styles including Rock, blues, reggae, Latin, and Jazz – 7 to 8:30 PM

August 10
Sitar Concert – Roshan Bharitya performs on this traditional instrument made popular in the U.S. by the legendary Ravi Shankar – 7 to 8 PM

August 24
Classic “Surf” Concert – The Beloved Invaders perform instrumental renditions of music that celebrates surfing, deserts, sandy beaches, and anything else that “surf” might evoke – 7 to 8 PM
