2007 Rocky Mountain Airport Open HouseJune 9, 2007
9 AM to 4 PM

If you’re into aviation, you can’t miss this event!  You’ll be able to see aircraft new and old, including World War II planes, plus antique, homebuilt, and experimental aircraft.  Enjoy the spectacle of the Jeffco Airport Association’s annual Fly-In.  There will be general aviation and military static displays, emergency response vehicles, and safety seminars.Dan Buchanan’s hang glider show

Want more excitement?  How about the US Army Black Daggers – Special Operations demonstration parachute team for a start?  You want more?  Dan Buchanan‘s amazing hang glider show will have you holding your breath!   Take the time to look at his website — this remarkable man was paralyzed in a flying accident years ago.  When asked why he flies, Dan, winner of 2 showmanship awards, often replies with a smile, “I have to fly…I can’t walk!”

Admission to the 2007 Rocky Mountain Airport Open House is FREE, and parking is free as well.  Parking will be provided on several lots within easy walking distance of the Main Gate.  Transportation from the parking lots to the Main Gate will be available.
