Independence Day 2007 (all over Colorado)
Back by popular demand: 4th of July celebrations! Let’s start things off by pointing you to some huge lists of links to fireworks displays in many cities and towns in Colorado prepared by some local Denver TV stations:

Aspen
July 4
Festive parade, street dance & block party, kids’ bicycle rodeo, free ice skating exhibition, and fireworks over Aspen Mountain. Festival schedule.
Beaver Creek
July 4 – 7:30 PM – Head to the front lawn, located next to the Centennial Chair lift, for a free outdoor concert by The Glenn Miller Orchestra, considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 and has been touring consistently since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world.Â

July 2Â to 4 – July Fourth Celebration and Rodeo

Montrose
July 3 – The Montrose Community Band will present a free concert on Tuesday, July 3, starting at 7 PM on the lawn of the Montrose Pavilion.  Bring chairs or blankets. In case of bad weather, the concert will move indoors. For more information, call 252-0918 or 252-1330.

Silverton
July 4 - 10:30 AM – Parade starting in front of the Carriage House – Look for floats, motorcycles, cowboys, fireman, and Silverton’s very own Brass Band. Judges will be on hand for awards in these categories: Best Theme, Best Overall, Best Individual, Most Creative & 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the children.
Annual Water Fight – after the parade, the Silverton San Juan Volunteer Fire Department and the Animas Fire Department face off for a “big hoses” water fight at the intersection of Greene Street and 14th Street. Bring along a raincoat, or stand w-a-a-a-a-y back.Â
Snowmass
June 30 - Massive Music & Movies Independence Day Celebration
6 PM and 7:30 PM – concerts on Fanny Hill;Â Laser Light show follows.
Keller Williams:Â guitarist/singer-songwriter – unconventional introspective folk songs
Son Volt: music ranging from quiet folk/country ballads to barhouse rockers
Laser Light Show: Come rain, shine, or fire ban, the show goes on in Snowmass! This brilliant laser light show is nearly 30 minutes long and produced specifically for Snowmass by renowned lighting designer Jeff Silverman, whose light show credentials include Millenium celebrations in Reno, Woodstock’s 30th Anniversary and shows for such major corporations as Conseco, Las Vegas Hilton, the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s largest ship and Las Vegas’ Bellagio.
Steamboat Springs
June 29 to July 4Â - 100th Annual Cowboy Roundup Days (Steamboat Springs)
