Denver Arts Week (Denver)
From a “Super” version of Denver’s First Friday Art Walk to a “Play in a Day” at Civic Center Park, where actors spend a day creating a new play to perform while you watch the process for free, to a photography exhibit and more — you’ll find lots of great ways to enjoy the arts in the Denver area!
What else is going on? There’s the High Plein Air Arts Festival, where you can watch over 100 artists painting in the “open air.”Â
Ballet Ariel is performing at the Denver Art Museum on Saturday, October 6 at 1 PM in a celebration of French culture for the Art Museum’s special exhibit from the Louvre. This is a free performance located in Schlessman Hall. And yes, they plan to include the Can-Can.
Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave will premier Western Style, a new exhibit of Navajo rugs and jewelry, Western shirts, cowboy hats and boots, Acoma pots, Western furniture and more.  Wear a cowboy hat for free admission on October 12 from Noon to 4 PM.
Monday – Thursday evenings: view free outdoor films and picnics at 9th and Kalamath. Then, on Saturday, October 6 at 10:30 AM, come to a free screening of a family film at the Starz Film Center.  Bring your own eco-responsible popcorn bowl (ceramic, glass, etc.) and the popcorn is also free.
And you don’t want to miss out on Wynkoop Brewing Company‘s free brewery tours on Saturday from 1 to 5 PM.
